Profile
Takuya Gunji holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree from International Christian University in Tokyo. His major was Japanese Linguistics and his minor was teaching Japanese as a second language. He has lived in Hong Kong and has been teaching Japanese language in Hong Kong, Macau and Japan for more than 20 years.
His research current interest lies in a contrastive study of Chinese Characters between Japanese and Chinese to make a contribution for developing effective teaching methods.
