Profile
Dr. Tiranant earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. Previously, she completed her M.A. in Teaching Thai as a Foreign Language from Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok where she taught a variety of courses on Thai language and culture. In addition, she conducted various teacher training courses for Thai and foreign students.
Prior to joining the University of Hong Kong, she served as the Director of Asia-Pacific Language (Thai) at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Japan. There, she taught Thai language courses to international students from diverse backgrounds. Her research interests include teaching Thai as a foreign language, foreign language acquisition, and curriculum development.
